Winter Potting Sink

This morning we awoke to fat, fluffy snowflakes cascading down, and I was thrilled to see them! I just love the way that soft white blanket transforms our landscape. Although this first snow didn’t amount to much, just a couple of inches, I threw on my boots and winter woolies and did a tour of the yard. While I filled the bird feeders and checked the winter water sources, I snapped a few photographs to share with you. So, pull up a mug of something warm and come strolling in our winter wonderland!

So glad you stopped in for a visit, Deborah! The snow was a real treat here in Delaware. In the past few years, we have had very little of it. Something about snow just makes everything look different and makes me feel like a kid again! Happy New Year!

love the ladder birdhouse, very cute…would like one for my garden.

  3. What a gorgeous place for the birds to warm up! Love all your quirky garden touches – and the snow is gorgeous (minus the shoveling)!

Thanks for visiting our snowy garden today, Kelly! You are so right, quirky is my middle name : ) I love to use found and repurposed items to highlight plantings. And the snow is like icing on the cake!
