Inspiration Field Trip ~ Terrain
Terrain, Glen Mills, PA
Terrain heads the list of places I visit for garden inspiration. Located in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, Terrain is chock full of every kind of indoor and outdoor plant and garden accent you can think of. If it is a new cultivar, they not only have it, they have it displayed in the most imaginative way you can think of!
But, it gets better! The nursery and gift shop are wonderful in their own right, but there is also Styer’s Cafe. which is beautifully located in a vintage greenhouse on the property. Have lunch, then wander through all the beautiful garden vignettes and plant displays to your heart’s content. A garden shed has been transformed to accommodate parties and events and is a masterpiece of rustic garden decor.
Terrain is an inspiring place to spend an afternoon collecting ideas and plants for your own gardens. Come see just a sampling of the beauty at Terrain in early Fall and you’ll see why it is one of my favorite destinations!
