Spring is Busting Out all Over!
This spring weather has me hopping around in all directions, not knowing what to do first! After finishing the window boxes and cleaning up some flower beds, it was time for some spring decorating outside.
First, I tucked Tete a Tete Narcissus bulbs into the twig wreath on the back gate. Then, off to our 1916 potting sink to make an April display of rain boots and planting materials. Gloves and hanging planters from the dollar store added cheery yellow touches.
To my delight, Miriam (Hometalk Director of Community Development) sent me a cute Hometalk work apron and hat. I incorporated the apron into a few pictures to share with Hometalk members, too.
Some pansies, tulips and curly willow by the front door made our front porch look seasonal. And, last but not least, the little kitchen window box was filled with more narcissus and a carved rooster. New bird houses will sit on the garden bench until I decide where they will be going in the yard.
All told, a busy and fun afternoon, but I only made a small dent in my “To Do” list. More days and more projects to come, but now its time to take a break!
