DIY Bird Baths ~ Bring Birds To Your Garden!
Nothing brings birds to your garden quite like a water source. Birdbaths are essential for birds to keep themselves groomed and hydrated, but they can be expensive to purchase!
Believe it or not, you probably have the makings of a birdbath in your shed, garage or basement right now! Even if you don’t, it won’t take much cash or time to put one together and start enjoying more feathered friends in your garden.
Here’s a collection of birdbaths that are in my own garden, all handmade from repurposed items. I used trash can lids, plant saucers and a decorative plate from HomeGoods as baths. For bases, try stacked stones, step stools and plant stands.
The fanciest and most expensive (about $60) is the Kitchen Sink Fountain/Potting Bench I made from an old sink. And, that includes buying the sink and pump!
Take a look and see if you can find one that inspires you!
